fun city & yong's - burlington, iowa

sunday we went shopping in burlington, stopped at fun city and ate supper at yong's (japenese steak house). emma did NOT care for the big flame - let out a blood curdling scream! =) and of course we all laughed!

talking to nick...

seemed to think it was going to be loud... only thing that was loud was her scream

the worried look just about every time the chef started to do something

"this one is otay mom, it's just a ballcano"

her attempts at catching the shrimp.... i was proud that she at least tried... twice!

dancin' with riley....

she's dancing with riley and singing a hannah montana song "nobody's perfect" but listen close..... emma sings "nobody's FerPect" it's too cute, had to get it on video.

iowa home opener....

went over to fort madison this weekend and headed to the iowa game on saturday (vs. maine). LOVE that college football is back on! might be a l o n g season, but GO HAWKS!!

it's hard to see.... but emma wrote her name all by herself last night. =) she was SO proud, along with her mama.

"i want to ride a horsie"

emma has been talking about riding a horse, so we decided to take her to the nebraska state fair in lincoln on sunday.... needless to say she had so much fun!
