my dad had a little accident this week. he fell off a ladder (about 10 feet up) while he was working..... but of course if you know him....he laid on the ground for awhile (hurting!) but then got back up finished the job and then decided to stop at home. thank god mom happened to be home and made him go to the doctor. the doctors said for a 59-year-old he was very very lucky. the mri showed he probably fractured his tibia by his knee - no surgery just in a brace and non-weight bearing for awhile. happened at the time mom was leaving for dallas (market for micky g's). so we helped take care of him thursday-sunday. emma was a little timid at first - didn't care to see grandpa laid up, on crutches, and his leg in a brace, but by saturday and sunday she was much better and a good little helper. we kept busy besides this too - went to the park with jakers saturday afternoon and another park sunday afternoon and saturday night went to sportsplex for the kids to play around and drive the go-karts. pictures following are just some i took while we were out and about.....
